Our Commitment
Inside and outside the company,
it’s people who make the difference
In 2020, during the pandemic, Bericah S.p.A. and Dr. Protec donated more than 70,000 disposable gloves to the Civil Protection of Vicenza, which—together with masks and hand sanitizers—were distributed to families, offices, and schools. It was valuable support during a period marked by shortages of essential protective equipment needed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Another significant donation was made in 2021 to the PKKII institute, a Malaysian organization that supports children and young people with brain injuries.
At Bericah S.p.A. and Dr. Protec, we have also chosen to safeguard human rights throughout our entire supply chain.

well we respect the planet
Responsible choices are part of our daily routine, even when it comes to the environment
To reduce the environmental impact of our activities, we have also chosen to implement several initiatives within the company, such as energy saving, the use of renewable sources, and one in particular that we deeply care about: planting trees to support reforestation.
Our collaboration with WOWnature by ETIFOR, a spin-off of the University of Padua that helps companies become “Climate Positive” by enhancing nature through innovative policies and sound governance, will support the reforestation of an area severely damaged by the Vaia storm in 2018.
With WOWnature, we have planted over 200 trees (spruce, beech, and larch) in Enego, an FSC®-certified area that was devastated by the Vaia storm in 2018, which destroyed millions of trees in just a few hours. Today, this plateau in the Asiago Seven Municipalities area appears without the beautiful forests that once framed it, but thanks to our support, another step can be taken toward restoring these remarkable woodlands, with renewed awareness of the importance of environmental protection.
After planting these trees, Dr. Protec and Bericah S.p.A. will continue their support through dedicated maintenance during the first three years of growth, upholding their commitment and certifying it with documentation that confirms the planting and protection activities.
Planting trees in this area means recognizing its environmental value and historical importance, as one of the largest and most well-known green lungs in the Veneto region and in Italy.
All of this is made possible thanks to the owners and managers of the forests in Enego, who have been willing to participate from the very beginning.
The initiative promoted by WOWnature is also supported by institutions and private stakeholders who care deeply about forests and understand their invaluable value.
Planting and protecting these trees helps us offset CO2 emissions and mitigate the effects of climate change.
At Dr. Protec and Bericah S.p.A., we are proud to contribute to the restoration of the forest and, above all, to this territory, of which we are a part and which still has much to offer to future generations.
